I’ve wanted to do this blog for awhile, but as with everything I want to embark on I wanted to make sure it was perfect before publishing. I had grand ideas about design, tone, multi-media. Now I realize that good enough is good enough. So please bear with me. I promise it will evolve. (Funny, this sounds a lot like parenting…)
There’s nothing like September to motivate you. A new year. A fresh start. Time to hit the books. We just spent the past week or so on a ’staycation’ in VT & NY. (Unless I’m getting on a plane it’s not a true vacation. Laundry and grocery shopping don’t follow you around a hotel.) Needless to say, I’m very excited about exploring this new communication channel. I’ve never been a fan of the ‘bloggers’ but as an employee of a news media organization, as a parent who wants to stay ‘in the know’, and as a very busy woman in general, I now see the light. I even had some foresight to choose a blog site that allows for multiple blogs within it in case my husband opts in. (He finally gave in to Facebook, so you never know!)
Now that I got the first post out of the way, stay tuned for more on what Caleb is up to. And what we’re up to as a family. I’m happy to say that right now he’s sleeping and I’m on my way to bed!
