On Monday we visited the doctor for Caleb’s 18-month exam. Caleb is 35″ tall (more than half my height already!) and 27lbs. He’s in the 95th percentile for height and 70th for weight. The doctor is very impressed with the variety of foods he eats, and is fine with us trying out peanuts (peanut butter) and shellfish. Not much else to report except for the fact that his ear infection discovered last week had responded very quickly to antibiotics so we didn’t have to finish the prescription, and we’re cleared for another trip to Ecuador on Wednesday. Caleb also got his second Hep A vaccine a little early due to the pending travel to a third world country.
We aren’t scheduled for another wellness exam until he’s 2. Which seems like a long, long time from now.
Although a nice thought is that spring is only 6 months away. : )
