As many of you know, two-year-old programs are very difficult to get into in the city of Boston. There are 200 families competing for 80 spots. Of course, once kindergarten comes around they can’t fill the classrooms because everyone has moved to the ‘burbs, but right now it’s very competitive.

This morning something monumental happened– Caleb broke his breakfast bar in half before eating it. Voluntarily. No tears. Let me explain why this is so significant.
Caleb refuses to eat foods that aren’t perfectly symmetrical. For example, we’re at the grocery store buying some sliced cheese. The nice person behind the counter offers Caleb a piece. [...]
